I was thinking sides because the piece of ACL I have for the roof is wider than the caravan so I can cover the 'edges' (There will be aluminium flashing going on too) Quote
Chris.QCR Posted April 3, 2015 Posted April 3, 2015 Sides first and then leave 20mm of the roof each side to tap lightly over the edge to cover the the side . Creates a better seal . Assuming you are covering the roof with 0.9 mm alloy sheet . If fibreglass sheet then it doesn't matter which way Quote

Ned Posted April 3, 2015 Posted April 3, 2015 i would probably do the sides, then flush trim them with the router, and then do the roof? i'm sure it doesnt really matter, but if you do the roof after, then if water does come in between the roof and the trim, then it has to work harder to get inside as there is no seam on the roof as such (no idea if i'm making sense TBH) 1 Quote
