YES, get said rusty parts truck. Yours looks to be really tight where mine is shit. The inside of mine is yucky. Yours is uber lush.

If you have the late model ball joint front end (cough, like me cough) you can bolt D21 hubs, stubs and brakes straight on. Plus then you can rock off the shelf drop spindles.

As well, the SR20 is almost a bolt in conversion. The USDM 620's all had L series motors. Theirs is quite an easy swap. But the filthy old J series is even closer. (Or so I'm told)

She wouldn't be a Datto without rust - good luck pal i know how you feel!

 

1 thing to consider is if you went British you may have less rust but you would never stop it from leaking bloody engine oil hahahahaha.
