haha man I lost drive. That happened over a year ago and I'm only sorting it out now! No real conclusion as to why I've lost drive. Gearbox, drop gears, cvs etc look good. Diff seems lose but rotates smoothly. The gearbox is coming off the engine so we can have a proper look inside.

Cheers man! Power loss is due to untuned timing largely I believe. The carbs do have trumpets with that red sock over it. I havent checked the clearances from the inlet to the firewall. The firewall has been modded though!! haha

Well, I took it out for a spin tonight.. with a few adjustments it...works...BOO YAH! Stoked, took it for a hoon and had no tyre rubbing at all. (which surprised me to say the least!) Here are some pics. (mobile phone...Cheap mobile phone pics) Still a lot to do but this is good news!

Times have been tough, I have started a plumbing apprenticeship and taken a pay cut because of it. But all is well I tinker here and there, buy what I can. I decided against those flares and bought similar ones but I think they suit it bettter. I had to add alot of camber (alot for a mini) to the rear and space out the flares a little to get it to work. And the front, Hope to achieve more low however Cant wait to get this out and drive it around illegally lol

Riiight, So exhaust arrived. I have got it hanging on the mounts atm, the main downpipe needs to be flanged before I can install them. Looks nice Bumper is only hanging on too Oh and I picked this up too I want to get the exhaust done and dusted this week because this weekend is my 21st and nothing will happen to the mini!

Whoa, Looong time since I was on here. Things are starting to happen (finally) My main goal is to get it on the road! Sooo I purchased new shocks, flares, exhaust and a few other things which add up to a sum of money but not worth mentioning. I have alot of work to do to get it road legal but I can finally start to see some progress!

Not a "real" update as such, just been collecting a lot of dust. I am however working on the bodywork uder the arches, to allow more low and more lock haha! I am hoping to get new arches and have them fitting before xmas! Too low in the front and too high in the back? Or just to high in the back? lol

Do it baha! I had a look on minispares lastnight looking at their stuff thinking it was so cheap until I did the Math! Exhange rate + freight ripped my undies in half. But I got a couple of things I needed anyway. Went to the MOWOG meet last night and looked at one of the boys suspension set ups he just had good shocks and tose "gay rubber cups". It was very hard! My setup is really soft so I am putting it down to the shocks haha I take back the "gay" part from previous posts.

"minis werent exactly precision built" haha ! Hey thats awesome did you get the standard height shocks or the lows? I think this will be a purchase I'll have to make soon.
