RUNAMUCK
I likey! YES, get said rusty parts truck. Yours looks to be really tight where mine is shit. The inside of mine is yucky. Yours is uber lush. If you have the late model ball joint front end (cough, like me cough) you can bolt D21 hubs, stubs and brakes straight on. Plus then you can rock off the shelf drop spindles. As well, the SR20 is almost a bolt in conversion. The USDM 620's all had L series motors. Theirs is quite an easy swap. But the filthy old J series is even closer. (Or so I'm told)
Slacker_Sam.
I like the J series Its just like working on a British Leyland A & B series. Its almost exactly the same actually.

Snoozin
Its true though. Even the roughest triumphs Ive had haven't been this rusty. Must be a Jap thing. Trumps have this uncanny ability to be awesomely solid. 620's have an uncanny ability to be awesomely rusty.

tyronj
Hey mate,  She wouldn't be a Datto without rust - good luck pal i know how you feel!  1 thing to consider is if you went British you may have less rust but you would never stop it from leaking bloody engine oil hahahahaha.  Keep up the great work
Slacker_Sam.
If there's no oil under it, there's no oil in it! yoeddynz has kindly lent me his welder so tomorrow I'll spend patching up the rust. Because datsun.
RUNAMUCK
Did ytou buy the rusty parts truck?
Slacker_Sam.
I had a look at rusty truck. When the guy said rusty he meant totally fucked! the cab is just sagging over the chassis. Not many useful bits on it. So I gave it a miss.
