Goat
Have got a polishing wheel on a bench grinder thing. Its pretty epic. Would probably be quite an easy job to polish those on it.

Spencer
The $20 Supercheap polish wheels that you chuck on a cheap drill work legit. I have that and a harder wheel for cutting/ruining stuff.

Yeh tempted to give that a go. These will need a quick sand first to get rid a c couple of marks as well. Shoudl probably just man up and get out the tin of elbow grease. kicker
Just had a yarn with the polisher dude, was hard to get an accurate price as he needs to see the rims ideally but he said $60 per rim for something simple but I imagine we'd be looking at more for fiddly Japanese rims. Beaver
elbow grease it is then....
Snoozin
That's quite expensive. My Hayashi cost $50 per wheel for an entire wheel that was in a sandblasted state. I've basically sworn off polishing now, seems there are enough guys doing it that prices are competitive enough. Phantoms will look the biz
kicker
Wellington seems to be short of polishers, anyone have any other experiences with any recently? I spoke to the dude who does the polishing for 41 Degree wheels
Beaver
I talked to zinc and chrome yesterday (which was suggested by a few peeps) and they said nope. I see someone mentioned john the polisher in newtown in your thread earlier this year kicker, did you try him?
kicker
Ha should have mentioned I already tried zinc and chrome, sorry. John was who I spoke to earlier, I'll probably get him to do mine anyway so will go see him next week, can show him a pic of your rims and see if he can nail a price for ya, save a lot of furious masturpolishing

Beaver
Hmmm. I might have a crack at one and see how long it takes me. They are in pretty good nick (minimal/no curbing) so might be OK.
KKtrips
I saw a stock height and sitting on modgies (I think) version of this car yesterday morning heading towards the Eastern suburbs. Please don't tell me it was you.
