Negative.

 

Correcting the angle will reduce the clearance even further (as the nose of the diff will need to come up) so to fix it propoerly, I think I will need to cut the floor and angle the diff lol all fun and games.

In that case - dropping the back of the gearbox down will be giving you  a world of hurt.

 

Just check that the rubbing isn't the driveshaft rubbing on seatbelt mount bolts that are too long. (surprisingly common)

Yes. Thats what we are saying....

 

However its more than just the box being lower and the diff being higher as the leafs do funny things now they are flat/inverted, and I have no clue what angle the box sits at as we made the cross member from scratch, I just had it high enough so the box hit the floor and then dropped it a bit. bam and the dirt is gone.

 

moral of the storey, all youse can stop worrying about me
