Furai
Was a bit haha, should have yelled safe! Excellent day racing! My friend Ashleigh Made me go too fast and we fell off the sweeper. I scared an Altezza with some sideways action flying towards them locked up at 150. Then I out braked a Lamborghini Aventador. Heres a good pic from my offroad excursion, tried not braking for the sweeper at 170, tyres didnt quite hold on. Video Im in at 2min Got some more I will have to upload.
BlownCorona
on the note about being too tall for msnz roll bar spec, have you considered lowering your seat a couple inchs?
beachlander
I believe its on the floor.
Furai
Its 10mm off the floor if that. Its also doesnt have a solid bottom so I can even get my hand under when seated. Thats only for homolagation anyway.
Truenotch
Racetech RT saker is the seat to have if you need to be low-slung. I gained 100mm+ of head clearance by changing to that seat.
Furai
Haha I dont think you would get any lower without cutting the floor! This seat is like a sling, once you sit in it you go below the seat frame. Which makes your ass 5-10mm off the floor.
Truenotch
The saker seat leans back to give more head room - it's designed for very compact sports cars. As said, it gives an extra 100mm+ compared to the old racetech 100 that was also bolted to the floor.
Furai
Only issue with leaning back is head to helmet clearance. I cant pull the seat forward either as my knees would be in the dash. Would be interesting to try. And it begins...
Furai
Cheers to Ben for the help painting today, she is all set up and painted. Just need to slap carpet back in and trim it. Also finished uploading the Puke track vid.
Furai
So today I thought I would add some more class back into my car after looking like a race machine the past few weeks. First step was to cut up the main panel for the parcel shelf, fine tooth hacksaw blade made this easy and looks quite clean but will be covered by carpet anyway. Next I put the carpet in so I could put tape to mark where to cut, this is a little hard you just have to take your time and trim little bits. Bought some brand new tin snips for $9 at Mitre 10 as I wanted a clean blade. Works great and cuts real nice. Got them cut pretty well, not perfect but a few mm off. Done! Furai
Sooo I got my RS*R Manifold thanks to Luke Original All studs were good no issues, just WD40 and a warm engine. Comparison to stock, look how the pipes going into the collector are crushed! Couple little pebbles I pulled out Got them in with a little fiddling Done! Well the headers part anyway. Put all the AFM back in, Really need to get the ITBs in the airbox hides the RS*Rs! They do feel a bit better but I need to get new cat and the rest done before I really feel it I think. Went to a trackday and they gave me an extra 5Kmh down the end of the straight. Was a bit wet on and off but good fun! http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_detailpage&v=Sz7kl7Zm-kM

Furai
Right so a bit has gone on and I havent updated in a while. So I got a new catback system, bought a chamber muffler to keep her quiet and 2" catback with mandrel bends. Its has definitely made an improvement. Also got my tips on, these are just a test Im going to make some with a nicer Y joint in the same design. Obligortary sound video. I then went to the gymkhana for the month, afterwards we were having some fun and I tapped my friend in his 180SX >.< Luckily no damage just a scratch. Heres the other runs, I forgot to crop them properly but oh well. I also won this at Gymkhana! Cool packaging, yet to fit it though. I have a drift day tomorrow so I just bought a fire extinguisher this morning and new tyres. Its full track at Hampton downs so should be fun. Also another thing I have bought is some Silk Road coilovers, I was going to revalve my Bilsteins for 10/8K but I found these for $650. A little firm at 12/10K but should be good. Hopefully they arrive soon!
