Cullen
ditch the steels and you are disowned
Beaver
lol. keen for steels like this tbh http://www.flickr.com/photos/28439790@N03/6974900494/ more suited to the age of the car. but I think I want 14s or 15s so I doubt I can find something in that size. kicker
Do you have hubcaps for them?
Beaver
Do you have hubcaps for them? negative. they are gay modern steels so arnt made for sweet hubcaps. Ive got some mk1 tirumph hubcaps (the smaller ones) on my watchlist so will see if they fit my standard 13s. the factory hubcaps are full face/gay

kyteler
Hey, I was nice about it. For once. Ish. A little. Maybe a high gloss battleship grey would change my mind/likely not. Are you thinking maybe alloys? ( I realise you're after smaller steels.)
Beaver
Yeh nah I dont think painting them a different colour will help. Have been thinking of alloys, toyed with the idea of some 15" minilight type things with a bit dish. I think I want to keep 15s as it fills the guards more and can geta bit more tyre on them. kyteler
Maybe, maybe. For some reason the wagon's are harder to choose wheels for. I'm struggling to picture something in the ol' noggin that would really stand out, in a period correct appropriate way.
Beaver
yay, im glad im not the only one. My thinking with some generic type alloys is that they might not look amaaaaaaaaaaaaaaazing but thye are almost garenteed to look 'pretty good'. kyteler
I think the colour is working against you also, there was a blue one down here (I think it was on TM briefly for an exorbitant amount) on slot mags. They looked awesome in person but in the photos they didn't translate well. Definitely sweet though, but with white, maybe not so much. I don't know. xsspeed
They ended up darker than I pictured in my head
Beaver
that blue one is back on the tard. there is a local dude with some us800 spec wheels with some sweet wide 13" tyres with white writing (BFs of something) and have been having guilty thoughts about them...... Snoozin
White letters on black steels with those centercaps = aw yeah.
Beaver
aaaaaaaaaaaaaand just brought some centre caps haha. off a mk1 but the internet tells me they fit. if they look good, might have to look at getting my standard steels widened =D
Sparkle
Was gonna say different colour too. They're still quite dark, which makes them look a bit more, cant think of the adjective I want, but, dirty/agricultural/rat if you know what I mean. High gloss silver or even a rad bright colour would change them completely I feel.
DodgySam
Feel free to shoot this down but how about a really really dark purple for the steels. So you really have to look twice to notice them. Not EDABOC spec bright purple but something subtle. Then again you are looking to change them entirely so maybe ignore this post. edit: Then again this kinda works... http://www.flickr.com/photos/24476856@N04/7002504938/
