BlownCorona
sounds like a decent plan, +1 on some watanabes, would suit it perfectly.

nothingsfree
mm, was thinking 15x8 with zero offset, as have them on my cressida, so would be alright to test fit, to have something to work with till i buy some more, either Watanabe or a widened steel rim.the way i see it is, if i get the mx5 subframe in there and it is definitely to wide to work with, then i will shorten it up, and that is no problem to do so. Haha sweet! That what I wana hear, good luck dude..

Will be made to bolt up under the valence on the gx71 and replace the tiny factory lip. Let me know what you think? Not sure if it will fit earlier models either?? HighLUX
Toyota F series diff is what you want. Shorten a Estima diff or find a 4wd townace/liteace rear diff, the latter is only 30ish mm wider that the original dx diff but a weirdo 4wd 5 stud pattern
Brennan
yea cheers man, will be going to some wreckers on monday to see what i can find. Someone should sell them on trademe with the altezza lsd already in them, for lazy people like myself.
Truenotch
Last time I was at 4x4 commercial on Keith st they had a 4wd liteace and I bought the front diff. 4.556 ratios in that one though, which would make your car perky but might be a bit high in the RPM on the open road. Otherwise Whakarongo / Total commercial (owned by the same people as Ace Auto dismantlers) is good too.
Brennan
sweet, cheers. will check them out, what did you use the front diff for? Whats in your 86?
Truenotch
Front crown wheel and pinion are the same as T-series. But shhh, don't tell anyone.
