mm, was thinking 15x8 with zero offset, as have them on my cressida, so would be alright to test fit, to have something to work with till i buy some more, either Watanabe or a widened steel rim.

the way i see it is, if i get the mx5 subframe in there and it is definitely to wide to work with, then i will shorten it up, and that is no problem to do so.

Toyota F series diff is what you want.

Shorten a Estima diff or find a 4wd townace/liteace rear diff, the latter is only 30ish mm wider that the original dx diff but a weirdo 4wd 5 stud pattern

yea cheers man, will be going to some wreckers on monday to see what i can find. Someone should sell them on trademe with the altezza lsd already in them, for lazy people like myself.

Last time I was at 4x4 commercial on Keith st they had a 4wd liteace and I bought the front diff. 4.556 ratios in that one though, which would make your car perky but might be a bit high in the RPM on the open road.

Otherwise Whakarongo / Total commercial (owned by the same people as Ace Auto dismantlers) is good too.
