I can confirm you dont need the dash cluster, we are running a redtop beams in a ST202 celica (wasnt originally a Beams powered one) speedway car, with the stock ecu, and it isnt using the dash cluster. Dont ask me how its wired , cause I've no idea in the least - electrician relation did it...

Roman will know what to do here. I think he had issues with the redtop in his SW20 needing a 5v speed readout but was able to overcome it. Pretty certain his Carina runs with the original dash from the car too.

Toyota ECU's are normally pretty clever when it comes to cutting shit out of the loom - unlike european stuff.

Not really "renderings" as such done with Photoshop from lots of images.

And yea i wish the sigma rims where 15's too, I have seen them welded inside blank 15x8 rim barrels before that you can buy from transport wholesale place, but im not sure if im keen on 15's on the corolla or 14's

Because the manufacturer specs from Toyo on the 225/40-14 T1R allow up to 8.5 inch rim width to get past a cert on wide wheels.

I waited 12 months but got them slightly cheaper. I was real lucky.

They aren't available in NZ but to get them in from Japan would be $1400 - $1800 depending on how you had them shipped.

I looked in the states for a bit but couldn't find any there.

I know AUS got a small shipment a few years ago.

Didn't think the cert guys would be that strict on stretched tyres. Might have to see what the cert man i decide on using says after i widen the rims.

Anyone have any experiences with the certifier from levin? dont want to use either of the two palmy guys.
