fuel
unless you are prepared to spend big bucks on the suspension (especially the rear), an 808 will be a hopeless drift car.
Jebus
808 Will make a cool drift car, switch to KE70/AE86 front lower arms and knuckles, then use AE86 BC's, pack a pile of extra leaves in the back, hilux diff, 4x114 all round. 13B or 4agte or something yeeh
Spencer
leaves will be shit, it will need to be 4 linked to be any good
Jebus
ahh... no It wouldnt be competitive at top level. but leaves work fine for a bit of fun.
ryanfels
unless you are prepared to spend big bucks on the suspension (especially the rear), an 808 will be a hopeless drift car. Leaf sprung rear ends have proven to be quite good for drifting, they just require a bit of thought of how you set them up

xsspeed
Have you considered a 2zz?
glen
Do you realy want to drift something like that ? what happens when you put it into the wall, which at some point will happen. Would have thought it will be a mission to get the 808 to perform anywhere near like what a almost factory s-13 or r32 can. There is a reason why heaps of people drift nissans.... also every single part will have to be custom made...it's worth a thought.
Jebus
People drift nissans because they think its too hard/impossible to drift anything else Guy posting probably doesnt even own a car, so i dont think we need to worry about an 808 being crashed into a wall trying to drift. Im just in to say that leaf springs are sweet!
EvoBilly
whats the rear end that the sr20det powered ke25 drift car running the only issue with doing a car like that is at somepoint you WILL hit somthing and can do major damage so would be good idea to have couple parts cars for your body work as there getting harder to find bits for those old cars found a little info about it http://www.shredmotorsport.co.nz/?page_id=250 dosn't really matter what engine is as long as it holds up to hard out revving drift cars more come down to handling and steering lock etc
