kyteler
Fuck yeah man, these coupes are what makes this shape/gen Viva.
Rusted
And the droopsnoot nose. Coz thats what I love. 2300 from a bedford would be fitting, but how about a 202 from a Cresta?
KKtrips
This is a super choice and most a very probably rare car (I have never seen one and did not know they even existed till reading this) but in my opinion its gagging something modern and powerful - I feel there is no motor that Vauxhall made in this era that would do justice to this car.. Something like Mikunis motor or a 1UZ... gawrsh swoon..
ZedHed
not soo rare. They bought out one model with a strange looking front on it also. Like the escort mexico sort of thing.....looked like a munted firebird nosecone (smokey and tha bandit model). I know where theres a red and black coupe sitting up kaikohe, basically a magnum with smaller engine and less doors. Cool cars though. Here's some inspiration for you then: http://retrorides.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=readersrides&action=display&thread=81094&page=1 Or Coggers' white model: http://retrorides.proboards.com/index.cgi?action=display&board=readersrides&thread=35983&page=
yoeddynz
Good score!!!! I've a friend in Nelson (another Viva nutter) and he is about to split a complete 1800 magnum. I can ask if he wants to ship all the bits up to ya. I will try to get him to post up his cars (HB GT and a Firenza coupe just like yours) in build threads as ya cant have too many Vivas in one place alex
Bulldog
thanks for the comments guys....believe it or not the Viva E model is meant to be one of the most rare models....for all the wrong reasons because it was a 1256 firenza with a viva hc front which was like a parts bin special. Hey Yoda, yes I think you're referring to Andre? in Nelson...I already know him through other vauxhall stuff.
yoeddynz
yeah that's the man. Have you spoken to him about the magnum he's splitting? It could be just what you need.
KKtrips
Buy Brads Chevette for donor parts or just the drivetrain if he'll sell it.. Would suit this car very welll
