kpr Posted December 16, 2009 Posted December 16, 2009 yeh using the original hilux crown wheel. the trd lsd is in the same head as the supra one was, (in pic above) 4.5 ratio. unsure about the different ratios mounting different. have only played with 4.5's and 4.3's. got a 4.9 here but havent pulled it apart lsd centers fit in non lsd carriers, no worries. just need to use the lsd bearings. as open diff ones have smaller inside diameter Quote

nothingsfree Posted February 9, 2011 Posted February 9, 2011 Top work, as per usual... Love it. Quote
kpr Posted February 11, 2011 Posted February 11, 2011 half a car left to sand, then bro can chuck the top coat on. had issues with pinholes in hifill, on the fiberglass parts. weird, because im sure they weren't there before painting. maybe the hifill eats into the gel coat a little, resulting in holes in thin patches ? Looking good, want to spray mine next? ha, not keen, i hate panel work even more than i hate brakes. Quote
