Just do as i did and get a bit of cardboard, wang it in between the headlight and surround and trim it in a shape and size your hard over. Then transfer to alloy/steel, cut out, and further trim. Beauty of steel would be the promotion of rust, which lowers the front some. Be careful when you get to the 'bottom edge' when in place, as if cut square they look shit as.
