GARDRB
I've got an FXGT wheel for my Corolla wagon. I was looking closely at it the other day and realised that they have orange stitching, so we're gonna do my interior black with orange stitching. I'm trying to talk my brother into reupholstering it so I can repaint it too

Following on the theme everywhere on the interior would be nice! Im trying to figure out what colour to eventually go with myself.
GARDRB
These are some door cards I've recently helped my brother with. Thinking about doing the same indented stitching but with the orange
Snoozin
Re: shifters, K40 and K50 are definitely different. In an AE86, a 4AGE is canted slightly, so if you've mounted it flat in the car then your shifter is going to angle to the right a little. It'd be easy as to heat and bend it slightly, it won't take much to do.

Currently hits your leg in 5th.

GARDRB
I really like the idea of this, but you have to drill a hole in your brake res, and so if there wasn't enough fall to the clutch cylinder you might be in for a bad time https://www.chasebays.com/collections/universal-chase-bays/products/chase-bays-clutch-feed-adapter-for-brake-booster-eliminator On 18/09/2024 at 11:47, DirtyThirty said: Clutch res, I've ordered a 45mL motorbike one to make it as compact as possible as the current setup is a bit bulky. Also the master to res connection is still leaking, not badly but something Ill eventually get to. Ideally something like what the E30s had with the dual brake/clutch master res would solve my problems.

E30s have a similar factory setup but the res has 2 chambers rather than just the one. The motorbike ones I have is perfect EXCEPT the barb isn't big enough so that needs some work
GARDRB
I think this is the setup I'm gonna end up with. I'm gonna try and heat the hose a bit to get a little bit of a curve into it

kseries.rookie
Looks like that plug is the one that has the reverse light switch, oil pressure switch (for oil light on cluster), water temp (for cluster) and the switch for the fan to turn on at a certain temp. Although your pins are in a different order to the picture I have here of mine

Although your pins are in a different order to the picture I have here of mine Cheers man! Thats odd because the reverse light switch wiring seems to be already 2 plugs near the gear stick for the 2x bullet connectors on the gearbox and my cluster has all the connectors in with no wires matching any of these colours. I've yet to find a good diagram so hard to compare. Mind sending me through a photo? Also to add, if its for the fans thats no issue as mine are now thermo controlled via ECU. Si if I can eliminate needing a few wires that would make life easier.
kseries.rookie
I’ll send through a series of photos and then you can decide if my advice is sound or not haha cause I could very well be wrong. Slant front and flat front have their differences
Snoozin
Would check your gearbox mount with certifier, when I did my version 1 mount which was offset forwards from the mount on the gearbox and picked up the factory mounts in the floor, @cletus informed me that if it was offset like that it needed to use 4 bolts in the floor but if in line with the mount on the box, then 2 was fine. I ended up welding new pickup points into the floor.

The more things I can do properly the less people will poke at it haha
