Popular Post 64valiant
So as a few of you probably know. Beth had a little car crash and no longer has a golf. We said we would buy myself a cheap run around and she can have the Subaru and put the rest of the money else where. So I brought a ea coon. I brought it cause previously I had one I brought for the globes and I then sold it. Kept the globes though. I rang a couple of places to get lowering springs... Scratch that Ill get them Compressed at spring town in Frankton. Time to lower the the bad boy again. Had to roll the guards a little bit. Chur to the help of @Mrs 64valiant Still got factory radio in it. The battery went flat last week. Luckily I still had the owners manual with the code in it to unlock it. The interior is in pretty good condition. Hahahahahahaha They sure don't make them like they used to any more. Currently scrolling the net at turbo set ups. And I need to lower the rear a bit more.

64valiant
Oh I had the springs compressed 65mm. Was not dealing with having it half lowered. I did plan on buying spacers for the front, but ive settled with cutting a little bit of the rear to drop it down instead of raising the front. Slight difference in height

Drag off my little van no turbo needed due to your power plant being more than twice the size of a little xflow
igor
How'd you manage to find one with such low ks on it? Thought I was doing well to get one with 240 odd thousand on it four years ago. Also how is it so high in the before lowering picture? Like it's lifted. Pretty sure none of my three have been that high.
kyteler
Easily, I imagine. This one alone is proof of both lower kms and same height standard. https://www.trademe.co.nz/motors/used-cars/ford/auction-1364185752.htm

igor
That's true. Just like the XC was an XA with most of the bugs worked out of it.
64valiant
Found this bugger on face book. I'm the 4th owner I think. So been low owner car usually means low kms. Old boy seemed to have brought it two years old and had it till last year. It was so dam high. Stupidly high. When I put the globes on it was higher again tyres are about 18mm higher than the others. igor
Forgiven. I had to go to wikipedia myself to spot the badge on the grille not the bonnet and the lack of C pillar vents and I've got three EAs. The thing that made me check was the radiator overflow tank. EAs don't have the same one as EB onward.
