flyingbrick
So what are peoples thoughts on potentially using the factory WB steel bumper with the transam front. I'd have to take various measurements to make sure it all would work and then cut off the lower bumper portion. i think it might let the whole thing mold in a bit better with the rest of the car and the Lower section is what fits worst. kyteler
Noooooooooope and round lamps will look weird as shit too. You fruitcake. Get some Quad rectangles/kill a Carina.
flyingbrick
Hehe. Good idea on the Carina! I'll mock it up with the round lights and see how we go. I'm trying 80s custom not transam replica (makes sense in my head) Round lights in there might only seem weird because they originally came with rectangles? Man I love my tube beading tool.. And thanks to having a good look under various HQ series vehicles at Ben and Neals I was able to edit my fuel line routing to avoid an upcoming problem. Very tempted to sell all my LS stuff to help this along quicker.. Hmmmmn.
Threeonthetree
Sell it. Better to get this on the road in a reasonable timeframe than to have it sitting around forever while you build an engine. Have one functioning vehicle rather than a ute that is never finished and an engine with nothing to go in. From the guy with many unfinished projects.
Shakotom
Mate, You should take a mould of the fiberglass front and then make them and sell them. I'd be super keen for one! THE 80s IS COMING BACK!!!

NOPE. All trans am front or none at all All or nothing But yes to round headlights I reckon if you could set up something to make them glow red aswell it could look fairly evil

Shakotom
What about running some form of mesh grill set up similar to a 69 camaro and having the lights tucked away behind it?

flyingbrick
Great ideas all round.. I understand lights can be behind a grille as long as they don't obstruct it too much?
