mikuni
Oh, that does not sound too good not lliking the bumps on a flat skid pan! Keen for pointers to improve this! Yeah, I probably worded it wrong. When you button off and the nose dips, it kind of bounces around a little bit like the front is fighting the back. It'd be much easier to explain in person. It could just be old shocks to be honest. M_C
Wouldn't be surprised to find it has old shocks. I just bolted together what came with the car. I'm no expert, but they didn't feel flash before assembly. Be good to catch up. I'm hoping to make it to OldSchool meet next Wed if you are there. M_C
Also addding balast so Shaneo can keep up... The boring reason is Schedule A motorsport rules says I need a method to demist the the windscreen. I was thinking of a blower fan and ducting, but easier to put original escort fan back in. And hot air will demist better for the cold morning runs and events. I don't create enought hot air myself.
shaneo
So out of the last two events I have kept up fine by beating you in both of them you will need to thrash me to get some good points against me good luck. I will slow down for you if you need me to. Seen my engine is half the size.
Truenotch
Time for a Mazda 2.5 V6 conversion?
mikuni
7 weeks is a pretty optimistic time frame for a conversion, especially if you don't have everything set to go already. So keen to see this thing get a decent repower. I do actually have a motor sitting in the garage that is not being used, and people often put them into Escorts in the UK. M_C
7 weeks is for rebuild if lazy Essex is saveable. Yes, 7 weeks a bit ptmistic for repower without throwing lots of money at it. Not really feeling like throwing lots of money around after paying provisional tax. Lots of dreaming being done for repower possibilities... 2.5 V6 Mazda looks great Yoeddynz's style! Need to check what racing classes that would fit. Interest raised for motor in your garage Mikuni, do tell... (please)
