Now that looks Good! Did you do a tunnel for your exhaust?

Sparky was a bit too low for the exhaust hung under the car, even though this pic doesn't look it. Ripped the exhaust off loading onto the trailer. Bolted it back on at the track, ripped it off on the second lap and got black flagged. So ran the rest of the day just with headers. Super loud!

Another thrashing coming on Sat Dec 01!

Pulled radiator out, now just have to find replacement for oddball one. Hoping STA have something close.

Didn't realize I spend so much time caressing the gear stick?

I held back lol there was rocks and crap flying every where that not to count which way was your car going to go. I was wondering when you where going to brake for turn 1 .Funny how a little 1.6 can keep the pressure on a big V6. Great day maybe next time we will get a few more come out.

Appreciate the backing off, would not be fun to meet in the middle...

I could have sworn I could hear your laughter over my puckering before she straightened out.

You missed the bit about the healthy amount of work done to your little 1.6 including bike carbs.

But I think its more to do with your flash super sticky semi slicks while I slide around on road tyres... Hmmmm what can Santa get me this year...?

Looking forward to more cars next time!

I need new tyres those one's are had it my road tyres are just as good.I have been looking but they are costly. I have wheel spin on over 50% of the corners at Hampton just cant get enough power down an LSD would be magic

LSD = GOOD. With my nice tight LSD I only got wheel spin and tail happy on turn 4.

Hey, that's the one I checked how the grass was looking facing the wrong way. Wonder if they are related?

I Presume they are working fine but whats going on with your nuts :)

My nuts are just fine, bit warm today, thank you for asking.

Wheel nuts are the ones that came with the car. Super ugly and custom oversprayed too. But fit nicely with chamfer on end of nut mating into wheel and HEAPS of thread engagement unlike Tripod BMAC's ones for his first lap.

Are these the tires your are saying have had it? Look how sticky they are! Half the carpark is on them.

They will be factory off a Toyota or something, there tapered so you can use them with a steel/space saver spare wheel.

Ironically this morning one of the handbags tires had gone flat pre school run. Rushing to swap to space saver I found exactly the same nuts as the escort for the reason above, and its a Toyota. Washer and shank seats on real wheel, taper on the space saver. That is almost train spotting level Raizer.

Ooooooh that sounds like a nice motor.

I am being wound up by my Escort mates to ditch my Big Bertha V6 and join them all with a 1600 crossflow. Shaneo's new one is pretty Hot, but I am thinking it is more of a size inferiority complex and may not such a good idea. Always liked the modern twin cam idea.

You should go best of both worlds and do a quad cam v6, similar to what yoeddynz is doing with his viva. Would be super awesome in an escort. A cheap 2.5l v6 out of a mondeo/telstar or mazda.

Hm, could be an plan. Was planning on starting racing so 2.5l may put me too far up the classes. I heard the Aces+ class based on time may be getting binned unfortunatley.

Any idea on weight, hp & torques for those V6s?

How hard is it to turn from East West to NorthSouth orientation on them?
