EURON8
Right, i have just made my extractors ( pipe cut and taped in position only so far) The rear 3 cylinders are equal lenght ( give or take an inch) 26-ish inches But the front one is a good 8-9 inches longer 35ish inches 4cyl motor - 2lt Sorry for imperial, was easier when taking rough measurements of length. Question: Not chasing high performance-tuned for particular performance etc , just wanna know if this is gonna make the engine run like balls or wont i notice anything really? I only had 1 U-bend and some straight for each cylinder, but may grab another bend if i need to. Preferably i wanna just weld it up as it is Looking at you kpr

Jase
can get away with a lot really i've run 4x8" primaries into one 18" long 3" collector then into 2 1/4 exhaust was quite flat till 2800rpm then it'd rev its balls off till 7k was on a g200w, by all acounts it should of theoretically been a bag of arse

Spencer
Exactly! look at log manifolds on all sorts of engines! ever since the engine was invented theres been shit exhaust manifolds that work. Get the lengths wrong and you have shit/no scavenging and it may sound funny
Escorto.
look at 1uz standard manifolds. just a log with flanges welded on.
EURON8
I guess ill find out. Can always cut and modify. / do a little bit before i weld fully.
cletus
i made some headers for 1uz . shorty ones that were not equal length due to lack of space 75% /cantbefuckedness 25% still went and sounded heaps better than standard log manifolds
