Yep and my roofs leaking... puddle on the floor, my kitten is fasinated by where the drips are comming from ! You may like my RX5 but its extensively modified. 3/4 chassis, ford 9 inch 4 link rear, coil overs, series 5 disc brakes all round, Tubbed rear with 15x12 simmons, GM671 supercharger on rebuild injected 20B

If you do decide to modify your 121 the diffs are terribly weak and as you know the stud pattern is crap. Dont crack any windows as there obsolete. In fact all parts new are pretty much unavalible. They rust real bad on the lower doors, below the rear quarter window, under nose cone and really really bad under the window chrome and under the dash as water builds up in the sills below the grills at the bottom of the front screen. They are one of the heaviest mazdas of there time. No one likes them and brown is the worst colour ever. Have i put you off yet ? lol

Is this the RX5 you on about:

mazdarx51.jpg

Yup

The fact you have removed everything has devalued it. We are only interested in it if its in original condition. :doubt::rolleyes::lol:

Also Mr T says finish it fool!! let me know if you need any bits for the 1800 aswell.

I dunno what series Gregs 5 was, it was in ok condition but no show pony at all

The fact that i have cut it up has devalued it. You should of seen it when i first purchased it back in the mid 90"s Its a 1983 model and ran a factory 13b tall port. That was 15 years ago now and i was a bit dumb. Im after a horn button for my 1500. Its the big chrome round bit. Mones broken. Thats all o need.

Lol my comment was a joke (read page 3). I know what the car was like when you got it cos I used to work with the dude you got it off.

Ill hit up my mate who has the 15/18 parts tomorrow morning and see what hes got.

Yeah sorry i realised it was a joke (: But still wish i kept it original. The guy i got it off was the guy i sold it too 1 year prior. I originally bought it in the early 90's.

That would be awsumness dude. Cheers

I have made some inquiries about the wheels and only to find out 4x120 wheels are impossible to find.

The best solutions we've come up with is to get an adapter plate made up and there is a company in Hamilton that make them. The price is "okay" but by the time I bought new wheels and all I could have easily spend the same amount on a new paint job and that's why I decided to do the body in the near future.

Could widen your steels... even as a 2nd set?

Yeah thought about it but I rather actually keep the original wheels original .. u know what I mean ..

Plus the ideas behind the adapter is "IF" for some reason I want to convert it back to standard 4x120 patt then I just take the adapters off and bob's ur uncle !

Good idea ?? Nah ??
