Ned
I see, must of misread your post, he wants tu use the front calipers on the U13 rotors. he'll want early SW20 ones and get new brake lines or swap left and right over so lines reach and cut the non threaded part off. At least thats how i did mine on the KP so should be similar

thegreatestben
My intercooler pump arrived today, much to my suprise! Online tracking said it was still in the U.S of A I got stuck in and removed all the existing pipes from the old subaru intercooler. Heaps of people have been expressing their confusion at the water to air system, It's actually really straight forward so hopefully the pics I took make a bit more sense of it. Bosch pump is very sturdy. Made in Germany! Very happy I decided to go with this over the Davies Craig. Bosch vs. Subaru Legacy Running the 3/4" lines required a bit of trickery, I didn't want to kink the hoses. The previous lines were run in place of the air conditioning piping, in one place I found one of the pipes was squished quite badly. Not good! Pump placement was also a tricky choice ( I spent alot of time scratching my head today ) I decided against the usual spot under the headlight/steering rack area. If I have even a light crash/accident it'd just be destroyed. Here's how I ran my stuffs: AM I BOSO OR WHAT?? Just need to buy some clamps, wire the pump and modify the subaru radiator to suit the 3/4"
thegreatestben
Intercoolers all done now bar the pump wiring and flaring the radiator fittings. Just have to put everything back together now really, only big jobs left is that wiring and mounting the wastegate actuator. My AW11 go fast bits kit Real happy with how everything fits Should be all up and running in 1~2 weeks all going to plan :D
thegreatestben
Oil drain = done. Just need the pipe which I purchased off've TM tonight. And I have a question for those experienced in turbos I need to mount the wastegate actuator to the compressor housing since clocking the turbo around 180deg. The flat raised surface with all the numbers stamped in it is pretty much perfect. I just want to know if it's ok to drill and tap into this? It'd only be shallow, it seems quite thick in that location. Its a TD05H if that makes any difference? Pic shows where an existing hole in the bracket lines up
thegreatestben
I'm pretty sure that I can start it up tomorrow if the weather stays dry! Got the IAT sensor boss welded in. Gone from previous whoreyness: to: Bled the new brakes up today as well, Pedal is rock hard. Will comment further upon testing

thegreatestben
Cant celebrate just yet. Issues: Even though it's in neutral (clutch not engaged) the wheel is turning?? Only one side though. You can see in the video the speedo picks up. I has an oil leak from the oil feed. Leaking exhaust gasses from what I sense is a few locations, I've found one definate. And it doesnt run very well, despite being told by speedtech it would.
Beaver
Even though it's in neutral (clutch not engaged) the wheel is turning?? Only one side though. You can see in the video the speedo picks up. i know that when i was getting the hunter sorted i was all worried becasue the driveshaft was spinning in neutral....due to no load so maybe its just natural? havnt/cant watch the vid at uni, but am assuming the wheels are off the ground... Beaver
righto, wouldnt be to worried about that, there is always some load being put into the drivetrain even in neutral and with the wheels off the ground the resistnace isnt there so yeh
Simon
Iv noticed the spinning in neutral too. Lots of things do it. I cant explain it. Mean.
