cute wee gem
I know this has been covered but wanted an opinion for my setup. Will 5mm ID steel lines will be enough for the Bellett engine? I'm not sure what power it'll make but stock + aftermarket ecu they seem to make about 75-85rwkw The stock Piazza lines are 8mm OD but then 3sgte lines are 8mm OD aswell. Which makes me think 5mm will be fine? Is rubber hose running full length (i.e swapped for original steel lines) ok?
V8Pete
Rubber the whole length would cost a fortune and I'm pretty sure it's not legal.

nismo.capri
Rubber the whole length would cost a fortune and I'm pretty sure it's not legal. I brought a 10m roll of EFI hose from supercheap for $70 when I talked to them on the ph I didn't believe it was EFI hose at that price. In the past I've paid $70 for 3m. I'm running rubber hose the full length of the van and that's how it got certed and never it's had an issue with the WOF either. So I thought it must be legal??? Raizer
The last 2 WOFs i got on my Esky it had rubber hose the full length, IMO its a lot safer than the plastic hose Ford used on UK models
Mike-e
efi hose is usually phenomenally expensive, rapeco charge a scratch under $50 p/m
Toucan
If both cars originally used 8 wouldnt it be safest to go with that? Why do you want 5mm? I have rubber in my car but as said not sure if its legal an would cost millyens
NewGuy
Hose Supplied in tauranga have cheap as hose i paid $6 a metre for 8mm

forced
Probably depends on your pump as well and whether it's sucking or pushing. 8mm OD lines are good for over 300Kw at the hubs.
eke_zetec_RWD
i got 3/8th steel bundy for 30bux for a 6m roll.

What I reeeeally wanted to know is if the stock lines would be big enough, they're not exactly the most powerful engines.
cute wee gem
Doesn't really matter when I think about it, might aswell just use the 5mm stuff as a return. lol Cheers for the answers though
Jase
i ran the stock gemini lines when i ran my g200w was fine, but 5mm for return shud be sweet and then a bit bigger for your main
shizzl
are you allowed to run fuel lines inside the car? i was gonna run mine along the bottom of the tunnel and up through the firewall where the heater pipes used to go..
sholdowa
You must be able to - there's plenty of manufacturers who do it. Sure scoobies're like that,
