mikuni
You'd probably run into abit of trouble getting wofs or from the pigs if you hid indicators behind the grill aye. Regardless of the fact that they will be visible (just) when on they are the sort of thing that those cunts like to see in very obvious places. So mk3 lights are the top (round) ones? I reckon just do what that cunts done in the bottom picture. Maybe black the headlights a little aswell. Looks kinda cool on a straight car. Also full bumper is better than 1/4's. RT
the only legal way to do quads on a MK2 is the way I have done it. This is factory standard placement for American models. MK2 square lights are poo. Fuck all light and impossible to replace. Don't even think about trying a cortina one. Some cunt sole my headlights and I replaced on and had to run a cortina one on an angle for a year until I found some quads.
treggo
Yea, I'm thinking about doing that and just tinting the indicators. Haven't heard back from the guy that said he had some so might have to look else ware.. Do have any ideas where I might be able to find some? RT
some quads? ...no they are hard to find.. you can buy clear indicators for MK1 escorts from the UK if you are that way inclined..
treggo
Not too keen on clear indicators Just want to lower the contrast of the orange against the black and the blue..

crazy_rich
yo, i tore some quads out of a stinky old b1600 ute. they'll fit with a bit of messing around and look kinda average till i can raise the runds to buy some genuine mk1 gxl lights.. god knows where i'll find any. could be worth a shot for you too though ay. kyteler
If you're looking to bodge something as an interim, you shouldn't have any trouble finding quads from anything medium/large 70's and Japanese.
RT
Not too keen on clear indicators Just want to lower the contrast of the orange against the black and the blue.. well.. I wouldn't try and darken them up for looks.. and then have someone crash into you cos they didn't see you were turning.
kyteler
Just run a higher wattage bulb in it though, shouldn't be too much of an issue re he heeeally.
mikuni
Yeah, silly mods is what we are about. They won't need to be too dark anyway so you'll be surprised at how easy it is to see the idicators through the slightly tinted indicator lenses. I recon it has the potential to look better than the twin rounds, though I guess the other issue is replacements but just plan on not smashing the front up. Toucan
Mean. I'd suggest throwin old rims on while sanding/painting, to protect the superlites, better safe than sorry and all that
