Yo Gaz. Remember that Auto box that you bought down from home that got pinched from outside Chris's house? That had a different output spline diameter and im sure the box itself was a bit of a different size/length. Maybe there were two different types of Auto boxes with different length driveshafts with different gearbox spline sizes! - Oh Yeah Chris, Americas going sweet.

Yeah that one did have a larger spline and a tad longer..

So yeah,m there must be diff boxes/shafts.. Wonder now how to determine which one is from what?

yeah im useing a auto drive shaft in my esky and its the perfect length ay are you sure it was a auto drive shaft that was too short ?

Is yours a two piece Driveshaft? What year/model escort is it out of?

His is 2 piece and his Esky is about a 77 mk2.

Hmm if you have a different driveshaft from most auto Eskys i wonder if your auto mount will still work with the T9?

yea thats do-able, i made mine bwt 18mm. just draw it up and get a quote. remember the spiogts etc. prob took mew bout 2 hours to make but a machine shop wud have better equipment ect

Have you fitted it? In Mk1 Cortina with the smaller flange it would be difficult to get the longer bolts in I think.

Brake booster and callipers installed
