Gaz
100% positive. The car was an auto before we went to 2l and 5speed. How much of the shaft is in your gbox tail?
Raizer
Hey whats up with that one? I guess not all the sierras had that gay homo rubber peice in them. I thought they did. That will be from a Cortina or Capri one piece shaft, unless later twin cam Sierras got rid of the stupid rubber.
Mk1Mad
Yo Gaz. Remember that Auto box that you bought down from home that got pinched from outside Chris's house? That had a different output spline diameter and im sure the box itself was a bit of a different size/length. Maybe there were two different types of Auto boxes with different length driveshafts with different gearbox spline sizes! - Oh Yeah Chris, Americas going sweet. Gaz
Oh true forgot bout that box.. Did it get stolen?? What the fuck do people always steal gay shit from Chrises house for!!! Yeah that one did have a larger spline and a tad longer.. So yeah,m there must be diff boxes/shafts.. Wonder now how to determine which one is from what? New Coil Wire in everything properly. Carb Air filter (K&N?) Bonnet & grill re fitted Springs sorted (as there is no travel in them as they are, suggestions?) Return fuel line (unsure if we need this yet or not) Alternator & bracket Radiator fan and boot popper wired into switches Exhaust (eek an expensive item :S) Brake booster and callipers installed Battery - wire terminals Paint still needs a proper cut and polish Driveshaft loop Door lock installed on driver’s door (picked up set of 3 similar to solex) New heater coil if i ever find one.
