  9. ATF is my preffered oil, and I have topped up thousands Singer oil is also used by some but ATF is total win, makes em purr

I guess being the alloy head motor they have more power and are a bit quieter other than that I dont know the differences/advantages sorry Fuck forgot about this Hillman discussion, the main difference between the Hunter motor and earlier Arrow units which has been overlooked.. 5 main bearings versus 3!!!!!!! Stronger bottom end and much more balanced, the earlier motors were known for throwing conrods through the block and infact happened to me twice whilst engine braking/breaking in Minxes..

  13. more pics of white one? please send 1256 viva motor to a scrapyard- to be melted down and hopefully be made into a half decent engine in the future please.. Mazda conversion should make a sweet car of it.
  14. dude new one looks heaps minter, transfer all the good bits from the gold one into that then torch the remains/weigh in for scrap you'll kick yourself otherwise as removing sills and welded guards is fail

  17. My insane/brilliant suggestion; Jag IRS, instant LSD inboard brakes and 4x coilovers easily fitted and cheaply found, laters leafs and drums
