  1. As title says. Know numbers are dwindling, need to get things going again. If keen reply on here or pm me. Date and venue to be comfirmed depending on numbers.
  2. Sick. Sick, sick, sick.! Cool on a new level! As you were etc
  3. I am liking this progress. Stopping powah looks top notch.
  4. First stockcar. Only pic I have of it. At that stage it was the oldest standard stock racing in the country. This pic was in 2005. It was built in 1967. Powered by E31 Pacer 245 Hemi. Had a habit of heat seizing. when she was "new"
  5. I had one of these cut down into a buggy 30 years ago. Survived a Derby, only thing that stopped it was a fan blade broke loose, threw itself around the engine bay randomly and broke the side off the carb. Adapted a 1500 VW carb onto it. Was insanely fast, we got 80mph out of it on a tarseal road just out of Dargaville. It would wheelstand if you weren't careful. Far faster than mates 1600 VW one. Sharn aside, this car looks a real gem. Good to see someone showing a underrated marque some love it deserves. Keep up the good work!
  6. Hypothetically, in 2050 when I get this thing to cert time, it'll be a case of book a date at a cert place in AUCKLAND, (bugger this jerk up here) trailer it down. I'm building it to the HCM with guidance from Dave at Henwood Automotive/The Hot Rod Shop Whangarei. Sound right gents
  7. Wow. Genuine Yella Terra head. Nice!! Good hp increase too. Great purchase
  8. I got 2 complete spare engines plus 11ty billion spare accessories....
  9. Outstanding sheet metal work. Just shows what's possible with patience and a few tools. Keep up the great work.
  10. Love your work! I am honestly stunned with the quality of this car. I've always wanted an Aussie Cortina but with a carbed Intech 4.0l shoehorned into it.
  11. Rebuilt and repowered technically. My crowning glory was that car. Now, has been racer
  12. Pistons were a score, yes stuff is getting hard to find for the old Red motors. As revealed I'm putting a 265 Hemi Valiant with a MC6 4 speed GMH gearbox. Try getting bits for Mopar!
  13. Sick. Love it. Great little bike. As you were.....
  14. Discussion here https://oldschool.co.nz/index.php?/topic/29542-mackazs-22-buick-rat/
  15. Another typical MACKAZ pictureless update. Been put on hold again so I can get my house completely finished off. I'm gonna have a go at fitting a Holden MC6 "Torquemaster" 4 speed gearbox behind the Hemi. Workmate and I intend to strip the box down, cut the belhousing casting away, then Mill the front flat and build an adapter plate to mate it to the Valiant bellhousing. Am I mad? Yep. For added wank factor it's the same gear pattern as an original Chrysler 4 speed I had in my Charger, to the left and up
  16. As long as the keys out of the ignition it should be all g, g
  17. Got the typical xv crunchy starter? Old man had a 750 few years ago, semi custom, big bars and paint. Starter was nothing but problems.
  18. 2 words. Buick. Nailhead. Envious..... Now that's out of the way, outstanding build. I will be following with interest.
  19. We use Milwaukee M18 1/2" drive ratttleguns at work. And we work on trucks. They get arseholes
  20. Sorry, that's want they were called back in the dark ages
  21. Bloody nice Honda Richy. Nicest shape out of all tegs imo
