I roll a pneumatic aliexpress one daily paid $25 for it and put 3M belts on it. Is identical to the ones being sold from the local autolink for $150, like identical identical. Good belts is key 3M are easy to get but have had good luck through pps.
  5. Fuck yeah keen is like a 30 sec job. Message me and we will sort it properly no problem.
  6. Cool to see this bike get done properly, FYI the muffler packing on that bike is super hi tech Goldilocks. From memory I got about 6 in there.

  12. Yeah rock auto man, by far the cheapest. Went through and did my research about a year ago for my corolla.
  13. Highlf likely I have some 38mm stainless and a couple of bends that you can have if you wish?
  14. This makes me excitable, Jeff Snr still has his xl250 from when he was a whipper snapper down south and he is keen to pull it out of retirement. Speaking to him the other day he said the biggest shortfall with them is the front drum brake, if you could find a disk brake front end out of another bike that would make a huge difference.
  15. Yep have access to a few lathes, biggest lathe I can use normally is 92mm bore 2m bed. Should be big enough for most stuff. Otherwise have a 20mm bore 500mm lathe at home. Pm me if I can assist.
  16. VFD? Allow to slowly build the speed up to limit current draw on startup.
  17. Yeah man thats my old one, am curious to what the dude I sold it to did to it. Yeah kick start was blanked when I got it is a good motor did chch to hokitika and back on it just the rest of the bime required a bit of attention frame wise.
  18. Hmm cant figure out why it smelt so much, he was running the same motul 710 as me? Also surely they are taking the piss calling OIL 710. Main reason I buy it.
  19. Oh the plane from Auckland, excited to catch up with you guys.
  20. Not sure about other peoples opinions but I am taking my FR50 with a top speed of exactly 70.0kph. Would love to have some people to hang with haha. Figured at least if someone is doing scooter speeds its more open to newcomers.
  21. Have done a couple at work if its on the cheap you can drop them in.
  22. Quick numberplate question, just finished rebuilding a trailer which had no original numberplate but the newly assigned number plate is huge and doesnt fit anywhere. Ive cut 70mm or so off the bottom where I would assume a rego tag would go but its still to big, can you get the numberplates made up in a square shape the same as mopeds? Used the same form to register so I assume its possible but VTNZ lady had no clue.
  23. Lemme know if you go pickup @Beaver have been meaning to inspect @Kimjon shed for a while.
  24. Time to change your bio "Regenerative brakes not jakes"
