morkster
^Same i had a BCF2 cammed 1600 sport back in the day with a 2.5" system with one coby only, and it was way too loud.. got to the point i could hardly drive it for cop paranoia. My guess is a 2" system with one dynomax super turbo muffler just before the diff. That should sound nice, no drone, just loud enough, and will provide just a little back pressure.

Tiger Tamer
 Don't laugh but I cut both ends out of a baked bean can, slit it down the side and with the help of some hose clamps, made a sleeve and clamped over both pipes. Should be ok for a while. Have done the same back in my early car Mod days when all I had was an arc welder to use. Though i didn't look at it at the time as a tempory solution. Though it always was when it decided to part company.

ajg193
Do those plates have a sanded surface on the letters? I currently have the mill set up for flycutting plates - I can quickly skim a tiny amount off the top to get original finish back if you want
Petes mk2
Hi, They are the original plates which were pretty knocked about so I stripped them , masked letters and repainted background. The letters are showing there age and could do with a refresh. I understand that NZTA are looking at the rules regarding number plates and what you can do with them at the moment. Having them skimed would be great. Will be in touch. Cheers
Valiant
2" compression bent exhaust with an oval muffler and coby. Tradition, over trend. I always found the factory Sport extractors with small primaries and 4/2/1 design to work best.
yoeddynz
Mr exhaust has quite a collection of "projects he's going to do one day"...
Nominal
Well done on getting it legal. That's a lot of work to get through in two years. Even better is managing to hold on to the car for so long.

Tiger Tamer
It's a good feeling when you get them road legal after all that work and time. Time to enjoy some miles and smiles on the road.
