Yeah looks like I'm going to roll the Sunrise Red. As much as i've always wanted to paint something in that orange, the red just looks right against the satin black guards as you mention Ky.

In regards to the gauges we will soon find out. The guys at MotorElite reckon they've done quite a few setups with them and spoke of pretty highly. Other reviews came up great and if there are any faults there is a lifetime warranty as well so that's always a bonus.

Haha yeah see how we go. At this stage I want to go with the original red, but I'm keen to do period decals of some sort like you say. Or maybe the advan scheme.

Haha I've been waiting about 3 months to get it in his doors. Was initially supposed to be a month ago but they've been flat out!

Hah yeah they would have looked good, but would have hated to go the effort and not be 100% on it. One day it will be widebody though!

Good to have you back in nz tai. I bet it's cool to be looking forward to tinkering on your own project soon.

Loving all the palms in the background.

Thanks bro, it means a lot haha!

Hopefully get a plan worked out soon and get the ball rolling. It's a bit tricky as we're in a rental for about 6 months or so and starting a house build so that will take priority plus a couple young kids so as you could imagine it doesn't leave much room for playing with projects.. keen to see how it plays out though.

They're banana's,  mostly various finger banana varieties. My parents have a small lifestyle block with heaps of exotic plants but they've done well with banana's and have about 500 growing awesome providing heaps of fruit daily.

Wow! That's pretty cool. Pics of the bananas please. I presume they are a shorter variety.  I know banana palms grow really well down where we live and golden bay but they don't fruit, or if they do is tiny.

Here's a few. They're probably about half to 2/3 length of the big ones you see at the supermarket but quite fat. They're really sweet and have a good texture as well (lots of the smaller ones can have a bit of a floury kind of texture, hard to explain).

I'd imagine it's a bit less humid down there which doesn't help. When planting, we usually dig about 1-2 feet deep and load in fish guts and carcasses then plant comfrey around the base to help with nitrogen. It works pretty well and they fruit in about 2 years. Would offer you some young planta but you're on the wrong island haha. I can get you a hand drawn/write up guide from the old boy if you like.

We are eating home grown Bananas. Darn plant went mad this year with loads of fruit. The early fruit were a bit stringy but the fruit now is really very nice.

Do you get frosts where you are in hawkes Bay?
