Rhyscar Posted September 27, 2014 Author Posted September 27, 2014 Glad to hear you enjoyed the skids. There were some good bits but also made a meal of some corners. Haha It was all good fun though I'll fill you in on all the electrical fire dramas and ramming 4wd cars.. 2 Quote

CaMpylobacter Posted September 30, 2014 Posted September 30, 2014 lold at the rage man, you guys make it look so easy! Quote
Rhyscar Posted September 30, 2014 Author Posted September 30, 2014 I'm not so sure about that! Plan for the day was to take it easy since we aren't running notes and are complete beginners at this gravel stuff. Just tried to carry plenty of speed through the corner and try not to waste too much time going sideways. Worked in places but is a very fine line between understeer and chronic oversteer even with a mighty 87hp.. 3 Quote

smokin'joe Posted January 12, 2015 Posted January 12, 2015 so the ol' jigger has re-surfaced, on Oldschool. am currently trying to dig out some old photos and footage from early 2000's when Team Reid/Fletcher used it extensively around the south Island. did you get it from the Camerons ?? or did Sheldon Rush have it for a bit ? Quote
Rhyscar Posted January 13, 2015 Author Posted January 13, 2015 Awesome did you build the car or were you involved with it? Yeah we bought it from the Camerons. Very interested in any pics/vids or details around its history. Have seen the fletcher name on a few event results but couldn't confirm if it was the same car. Was it blue/green/white at some stage by any chance? Quote
smokin'joe Posted January 13, 2015 Posted January 13, 2015 only thing i had to do with it , was getting served a hiding from it !! Andy Ried and Dave Fletcher took turns running it and rallied quite extensively in the Mainland series. yes, white with green and blue. linky to their website: http://teamrfr.tripod.com/TeamRFR/teamhome.html Quote
Rhyscar Posted January 14, 2015 Author Posted January 14, 2015 Thanks for the link it's cool to know the history behind the car. What were you rallying at the time? It certainly goes well Quote
