Getting adjustable welded to strut (where + cost)

I've been quoted $240 (not including gst) to get threaded sleeves welded to my struts as per clint's guide by TTT which seems excessive, is that about how much it is?

not really keen to pay 400-500 just to get them welded(including crack testing(woops my bad))

is it a sleeve kit or a one of them full on kits? i rang up my cert guy an he said he was happy for them not to be crack tested, may want to check with the guy your using. find a mate that does engineering and get them to weld it on or one of their work mates i done that and they ended up doing it for free after work.

if you find a small quite engineering workshop they will do it for fuckall like sub $100 it only takes about 15-20mins to do.

it dosent need to be doing by a ticketed welder either.

Driftnmaz (Todd) can do it and get it crack tested
