sheepers
on other forums you are going to get called every name under the sun (bad one you understand, not the good ones) but here, i reckon your going to hear things like "fuck man thats a sweet decision to keep the stock 6 banger, its going to be super excellent to see this car with a tidy but angry 186 in the hole". for myself, i like to see different motors in cars that are "supposed" to have an 8. factory 6 will be ace. KKtrips
Hell yes the 6 will be sweet.. FYI you can get a set of triple SU's on a manifold already setup with the correct jets etc for about $2000 if I remember correctly.. Will see if I can remember who through - Shaz may be able to assist as her old man got a set for his customer.. edit - this may help http://www.revheads.com.au/carburettors_su.html# or http://recarb.com.au/triple-carburetor- ... 7733b8af19
yetchh
If you go for "stock" stock, it will def be worth more in the long run..
Guest Motoroche
Long time no posting. Update - the old monaro is at the painters now and should be getting its factory blue colour applied in the next few weeks.

Motoroche
Long time no post. I have been up to many different things over the past year but unfortunately working on the monaro was not one of them. One of my resent projects which I have now sold was an Opel manta that needed a bit of TLC.
Motoroche
The latest project is a MK11 BDA escort rally that is owned by a guy that hires it out to international drivers. I have been busy on this lately as it will be running at the silver fern classic rally this year and I'm one of the guys that helps look after it. Can't wait to get it going and take it to the track to run the new engine in.
Motoroche
The monaro is under cover and waiting to be worked on next. To be honest I can't wait to get back into it. Sometimes its good to have a bit of a break from a big project to gather up some more funds and ideas on what to do to it.
