Aaron
I need some assistance. Looking for someone who has a degree in cutting springs, hopefully on the Shore. Anyone willing to help? Thanks in advance.
Ned
Do you not have $600 to do it properly? edit; if not, create a wanted add for cut springs for a KP and they will be everywhere for cheap. That way you can keep your original ones (getting a little hard to get these days in un-cut condition
crustywhip
Go buy some or get them compressed. Least you wont get hassled by police = fines and stickered as well as looking stupid to other motorist bouncing all over the road. A wee trim is ok so depends on how low you want to go. rot808
as above, cut springs are fine
Yowzer
Highly recommended to get better shocks if you lop the springs, coz your car tends to get a bit bouncy / what crustywhip said if you don't. Also, your shocks are probably fucked. Compressed springs a gay.
Jase
concur^ get a diameter and pick-a-part a set the same from a car with similar suspension set up, then go home and experiment.

Chickity
Cut springs arent illegal... pretty sure only becomes an issue of legality if they're no longer captive...? Is this not correct? Also, paying $600 to have them cut still results in them being cut... so is that illegal too? If so, it's right up there in the spendy category with P. I'm confused. Brock-Lee
Technically cut springs are illegal until the car has been through cert etc. But yeah. Cutties hardcore4lyfonp
Ned
Paying $600 gets you 4 new springs and 4 new shocks for a KP to lower it to a fairly decent height.
