heh, yeah I was trying my best to get as close to the wall as possible down the straight. Shame carbs are on opposite side.

And gutted i had the timing up the shit for when I 'went pro'

flip it was fun though, will be doing lots more from now on i would say

Fuck, um. current update. looking at buying a new oil pump real soon, and shimming the valve to try get better oil pressure as I'm a little worried the head isnt getting enough.

I was going to be getting it running for nats track day, however I now wont be able to make that, but will try bring it for the gymkana, assuming that is still happening!

I did hope to have more done, but all these weekends away at events and shit eats your time and money!

You should be able to use a normal feeler gauge to set the clearance on the L as you set the clearance between the cam lobe and the rocker pad, not between the lash cap and rocker tip.

Seems a bit weird it shat a rocker, they normally only do that if you are running mental boost or revving the crap out of them on stock valve springs.

I assume a lash pad is what i refered to as a rocker guide....?

If so yes I found the two parts of its brokeness which made me a little happy.

Will have a hunt, I probabaly have one

but yeah, its very much possible that i had over revved it at some point I guess.

But i cant say i can remeber the last time it ran good......

I had always just assumed it felt like it was running on 5 from fouled plugs and average timing

So suprised

the wagon should be fun down the straights of manfield
