Beaver
Once we raise the front a little and push the tops out so it is a more useable camber it should look sweet. Woah woah woah don't talk that rubbish
Avenga
haha. it is at atleast 10 degree negative, if not more at the moment, I am going to drop it down to just a few degrees, looks funny with that much camber. Will help fill out the front flares more. It is all adjustable so I can play with the ride height and camber until it looks and handles right. Avenga
Thanks. Yup, I am over the moon with how it came out. It was an awesome feeling driving it for the first time after such a long wait.

Shit,i rebuilt an xagt coupe in the same amount of time, but id lay money on which car will still be around in another 20yrs,lol. Looks very nice indeed, you must be stoked! Thanks. Yup, 200hrs plus for panel and paint. It took the heaps longer than they thought because the had to do a ton of rust repair, rust proofing and panel work. that time also includes making the flares etc. Grant said he spent 40hrs on the rear flares alone. They stuck to their quoted price so I didn't have to pay for 200hrs+ of labour (thank god) Popped down to GT today to show them the finished car. Wow man, its soo good to see it together! HAHAHA......now what Thanks. Now it's time to drive it. I have just our a week before my big road trip to the south island.
Taistorm
Saw this in the flesh today. It's absolutely wicked. Paint and panel work is flawless and is so staunch with the kit. Sounds fucking aggressive as well. Good stuff bro, glad I got to grace this with some wiper blades
Avenga
Thanks, those wiper blades work sweet. I got to try them out this morning in the drizzly auckland weather. Much better than the old ones. I took the Avenger out to a car show yesterday morning and it is cool to finally be able to use it. Looking forward to seeing how long the new meguiars endurance tire spray last. It must be pretty good as they were advertising it during the V8 Supertaxi race yesterday. 1ton
You definitely raised the bar with that last Avenger mate. The new one looks badass already and sure will be with the intended V8. I had been mulling over dropping a 3.8 V6 in mine but have other things to do first.
Thousand Dollar Supercar
Should keep this latest Avenger evil ratty bogan spec to save money. Find more Cheviot Turbos and wide Eagers, keep the same patchy primer grey but incorporate the Spitfire look - fighter plane roundel thingies on the doors (optionally German crosses, cos they look more evil), pop rivets, icons on the wings showing how many engines you've killed, a bullet hole or two.. The bonnet vents already work with this look (and will allow heaps of induction noise out!). Then get someone to cut you a "Sentinel" badge as you had done with the "Panther" one on the blue car, and you'll have your own British heavy metal theme song (optionally covered by a German band, cos they sound more evil despite getting a few lyrics wrong): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L3rpU-_erPg "Sworn to Avenge Condemn to hell Tempt not the blade All fear the Sentinel.." The cheese level of the resultant vehicle when playing that song would make Judas Priest proud. Actually better ignore all that, but also ignore Sheepers when he says 1UZ and anyone who says widened steelies and stretch tires.
Avenga
I have another 3 Cheviot turbo wheels for it. Here is a picture of it before I got it all Turbo'd up Yes! I totally love the idea of keeping it bad ass or WW2 german plane inspired. Like this Silvia
Thousand Dollar Supercar
It looks very Mad Max already! Born to rock left and right to the revving of an old V8. The rivets and slight rusty look on the rear wings of that Silvia are cool, and I'm sure you can get window louvres for Avengers too.. Avenga
That is the first thing I thought when I saw it, it looks soo Mad Max. and with the V8 it will look even more the case. It will have quad downdraft webers so they will be sticking up out of the bonnet also. We (The Avenger club) have been looking for louvres for ages. I have only seen a handful of Avengers rocking them so I may have to make some. here are some examples
BDA780
I'll move this here:  Build  I was blown away by the work that went into your Avenger Panther. Can't wait to see how this will turn out!  I assume Malcolm Clark and Skid Mark Parsons will be involved?

BDA780
^^ Second that. It sure will be sweet to see finished. Will you keep the guards as they are? I was mentally imaging how Lancia Delta spec box flares would look like on it (to give you the extra track width) Either way it'll be mental! Â EDIT: Oh and side pipes

Can't wait to see how this will turn out! I assume Malcolm Clark and Skid Mark Parsons will be involved? Thanks. We put a heap of work in to the Avenger Panther and it is pretty much all finished now, I have a new custom fuel tank going in the boot then that is it about finished. Yup, Malcolm Clark did all the Mechanical and fabrication work on the Panther (Except bodywork and flares which were done at GT). Mal does an awesome job of making my crazy demands come true. I have the new V8 sitting down at his workshop now, just need to hurry up and save for the rest of the hardware I need. Can't wait. ^^ Second that. It sure will be sweet to see finished. Â EDIT: Oh and side pipes Thanks Funny you say that because I was just thinking the exact same thing. I was just talking to Mal on Saturday about the flares, he thinks they should go, and I agree with him. He suggested bubble flares like a MK1 escort but I said boring (no offence). Then I said how about a big wide body like a Group B rally car, like a Lancia Delta or Audi Quattro S1 (I would love a big Audi style wing on the back). I would LOVE the extra track but Mal said it will be pretty hard, I guess it is just how much money I throw at it in the end but I want! Oh and side pipes have been a must since day one Oh and we are making it a 2 door, moving the B pillar backwards and making the front doors longer. I was thinking maybe flares like this,
BDA780
Hahaha not a big bubble flare fan myself. Yeah Felix Pailer flares would look super mean! They'll match the front spoiler that the Avenger has now. 2 door will complete the look perfectly.
