But then of course, you wouldn't learn anything if you did that so... And wiring is a cheap job you can do while you save for bigger things. Maybe have someone else look completely through it before connecting anything to the battery... That manual is pretty decent at explaining things.

Had a go at brazing ... nick and I concluded they are not brazed on maybe soldered? they didn't have the gold complection at the joins and looked more like solder. Meh will sort it cant be hard.

You don't NEED Capri struts. Escort ones can be used usually as there is little to no difference. Most people, including myself just upgrade because a. they want the wank factor, or b. they don't know any better and have just been told they need Capri struts.

If you want them for the heavier duty spring just get custom springs.

If you want them for the 1" drop, again, just get some custom springs.

If you want them for the removable bottom arms, just get some early mk1 struts.

All of these will save you alot of money over the $400MIN v6 struts.

If however you want them for the heavier duty stub axle and larger bearing then you may be on the right track.

Thats why i want em. Au falcon discs will go straight on as stub size is the same. Calipers will be 4 pot Skyline. Looking at also shortening the strut changing to coil overs and shorter inserts. By changing the inserts i hope to be able to change to newer adjustable caster/camber tops. Looking at a Koni adjustable inserts.
