  1. LOL yup that'll do it. Just gona stick the box on trade me an if it is a gt box shit happens. Bought that White an blue mk2 esky van on trade me an it had heaps of spares I don't need. Probly be sellin the motor an sidedrafts soon.
  2. Well just sust out there is a difference Std ratios 1st: 3.66:1 GT 1st: 3.34:1 2nd: 2.19:1 2nd: 2.00:1 3rd: 1.43:1 3rd: 1.42:1 4th: 1.00:1 4th: 1.00:1 Reverse 4.26:1 4.25:1 Just need to find out now how to tell the difference from the outside LOL.
  3. I bought a panelvan the other day along with a heap of parts an amongst it all is a gearbox with MK1 GT written on it. Is there any way of telling if this is so ie numbers???? Is there actualyany difference??? Any help greatly appreciated guys.

  5. Will have to check with him. Hes buildin a 2dr mk2 with a 302 windsor t5 an falc lsd. Basin my build off his but want to step it up a knotch. Want it to handle an stop as best as i can without goin extreme. IE full custom chassis irs front etc would be a bit to much.
  6. Cheers for that guys will check these places out. Diff wise was gona use an xf fairmont disc rear end with v8 lsd an axles. Was told that they have different axle lengths from side to side, so to take the short axle an put it on the long side an that would work out to be the right length an then just shortern the long axle to suit. This way would be the cheapest an easiest. That has been scrapt now as today i was informed to just go 2wd hilux deisel with a 3.8 ratio an it would be the right witdh an bullit proof. What you reckon?????
  7. How hard is it to make a hydraulic pedal box. also how much works involved in fiiting a 4 link rear with coil overs an watts linkage to do away with leaf springs.
  8. Thats why i want em. Au falcon discs will go straight on as stub size is the same. Calipers will be 4 pot Skyline. Looking at also shortening the strut changing to coil overs and shorter inserts. By changing the inserts i hope to be able to change to newer adjustable caster/camber tops. Looking at a Koni adjustable inserts.
