Hey man, pretty sure you can firmware upgrade over the phone. You call up link, give them your credit card details then they give you a number/password to download the firmware for G4. Then load onto g3 with laptop.

yea thaught so. its an ass tho, i only want it for the 3d boost control that the g4 has, but the g3 had g3 boost control as a feature/spec when i got it but they never did the upgrade to this!

hmm yeh its pretty shit if they are charging for a firmware update. to upgrade to what the ecu was spose to have to start with. would be keen to upgrade mine to g4 as well. wonder if the update can be used on more than one ecu

I'd say they are probably matched to an in built serial number stz. Ie not allowing multiple usage of firmware.

Reckon you could post up your dyno sheet? I'll scan mine tonight to, be keen to compare etc

i would lol but i tryed printing the dyno sheet myself at the dyno and ended up deleating it lol/

it will be on dyno again in the next few weeks so i will do it then.

any yea im just going to pay the money for the upgrade and get it over and done with.
