Just wondering if your going to put a radius or a trumpet from the runner into the plenum, on the inlet manifold. One of my old work mates is HM70 crazy and i think he's ported heads that have made 180hp on good bottom ends naturally aspirated, so i think you may exceed your expectation with this set up and a good tune. . . . eke_zetec_RWD Posted March 31, 2008 Share Posted March 31, 2008 yea using a 160buck intercooler.some of that chineese stuff you cant beat for the price a. the runners are fully radiased into the pleanum and injector bosses dont intrude into runners. dont know what throttle body it is but its 75mm bore and has idol stepper motor up built into it. cant wait to get it goin. Gaz Posted April 1, 2008 Share Posted April 1, 2008 Hey Jase boe. Im gotta sort my intercooler too. Why did ya cut the gaurds? Was it so the bends from the cooler pipeing go into the gaurds? Also how weak is it now without half the front.. I want to do that to mine but scared. Did ya chuck some tube or box section in there to stregthen? More pics? Gaz cut out becose of dodgy repair from last owner, also replacing chassis rails back to firewall gussets, and the bit befind the valance that goes between the chassis and it was very rusty. better to fix it propaly and walk away. so i got to make new inner guards from where i cut them forward but where they usually bend in torward the radiator pannel im gonna leave it straight, will look better and give me a lil bit more room for piping. next time i would be getting a intercooler with the outlets on the rear of the endtanks so no need for 90deg joiner. will get some pics tonight. eke_zetec_RWD Posted June 17, 2008 Share Posted June 17, 2008 yea i want to but iv lost the cable that goes between my camera and lappy. anyone got a spare one for a sony camera?? but of fucking around to do it but any engineer shud be sweet. need a lathe minimum, a mill would be lux if you wanted it to look sweet but a 9 inch does the trick.
