eke_zetec_RWD
old head was fairly standard, had standard cam and ports with hard seats and k-liners. 21 and a half lol.
Truenotch
Jasons projects are the best! First one I saw was the mkIV cortina-beast with Subaru turbo setup, then after that came a team of Lazers, Turbo 4wd primera and the latest one to be seen is the Zetec 7 replica.... All within 2 years or so, with lots missed out.

Did you run forgies on your initial turbo set-up boes? or did you have it as a high comp sort of deal? if it was high comp and reliable, I might have a go at a low boost motor. eke_zetec_RWD
yea ud need a mint block which only needs a hoan to cum up good. these are bullet proof these pistons. iv run 25psi on my cosworth pistons and no issues

eke_zetec_RWD
the discs are standard ford item, from a new rs focus. calipers are from a hilux but heavy as fuck. so use some alloy ones ect. they fit under my 15's tho. got it on standard booster atm but i wont when its turbo, no room ect. nt to sure what im doin there in that respect..... QCADTA
Yeah im gonna run a vh44 up under the dash i think, got my brakes off e bay with the 5 stud hubs to match the hilux rear end. Theyre big brakes so hopefully will pull up all right.

QCADTA
Only pic i could find, a VH44 is a remote brake booster you can put where ever you want in ya car, much like a hillman hunters booster, just run ya brake line to it from ya original brake master cylinder, then out of it to your calipers, and a vacuum hose to your manifold. Only do either front or rears, not both though. bout $300 new from bnt. There is a bigger one which is a VH40.
QCADTA
Actually heres one on trade me, $100 reserve, possibly a hillman one though, not sure.

eke_zetec_RWD
cos if your doing a brake modification then i dont think your allowed to use a single circut master clyinder. incase of failular then no brakes at all apart frm handy
QCADTA
Yeah thats why you only boost the front brakes, if you want to boost both front and rear you will need two of them. Twin cam escorts came out from the factory with single line boosted to the front only.
