We got a spare pull out couch in our room if you want/$35 a night right in the centre of town with sweet parking and well within staggering distance from Pinkies Bar (/Surf n Turf)

Slammed Rat HQ? Hmm dammit it for still loving old school holdens in a big way. Meh...

What day were you cruising threw the Waikato again? Could cruise to the hop with ya, if its the right time of course.

Edit: Also only just realised your beast was left hand drive. How you get away with that?

They seem to develop ring issues, otherwise they're strong as fuck. Generally a new set of rings, and some valve stem seals sorts out any smoking. Just make sure it's been given decent oil changes cos IIRC they like to wear the cams as well.

going to Taupo on Wednesday then continue to Waihi via Baypark bro - No Waikato stz.

unless there is a better way through Waikato you can suggest?

Oh yeah LHD is the way to go - just doing things the right way/knowing people

Cruising threw Matamata on Te Aroha and then head over to Waihi is nice and flat. But you do have to deal with Karangahapi Gorge. But that aint fuck all. Heaps better then going back way threw TGA.

So want LHD in bucket, but didnt think it was able to be certified. I know you can get old American muscle on road LHD sweet, but for a newly built car?
