lowlancer
Only chance I'd have is to export to Japan, but the cost involved would be massive and make it redundant, plus a Celeste is still not exactly a wanted vehicle over there either. Gaz
The corolla series get heaps in Jap. Still we shouldnt have to ship our cars away. So england has cheap parts but not many mint shells. Interesting. When i do sell im sure im going to be the one interviewing the buyer of my car to make sure he will look after it. lol
Bistro
Yea they will try and fix anything over there. Awesome restorations with amazing amounts of work. Always replacing winds and floor pans etc. I knew a fella who chucked a mini shell, good condition i think, and this chap was horrified! Gotta love that salt. ahhh...I sound probably stop smapping your thread

Leebo3
Have you taken the quarter bumpers off to see what it looks like with them off?
lowlancer
Exhaust, get a nice round muffler at the back, black, with 2.25 pipe out, either dumping (like Alfaholics) or angled. Looks the shit. Fuck that bling crap, looks retarded on Escorts. This car is too mint for that mang
Gaz
yeah its 2.25 exhaust systme so thatd be easy. Im thinking just a black dump pipe. But will see. I hate mk1s with no bumpers. Will probably put the original one peice back on untill i find proper quarters or put the cooler in.

Eskorted
OMG that fuel cap is awesome. realy suits it!
Gaz
Cap needed machining slighly to sit in the recess the escorts have. Holes drilled for the allen keys to go through and thats bout it. While tank was out I got the fuel out made bigger for when the Ca or Sr goes in.

Hemi
i think that alooy thing is a ecrossover pipe turbo-intake .. , yea how much is one of those fuel covers
Gaz
Yeah ugly pipe just eliminates intercooler. Um cap + all extras needed to make it work = 120 pounds plus postage. So $400ish NZ landed. Not cheap at all.
peteretep
just order other stuff at the same time, the postage stays the same

CaMpylobacter
you didnt put that shock back in did you? weeping etc
Gaz
are they "home-made" adjustables?, if so did you do them yourself/how etc Yeap. got two sets. One I brought from burton and the other (that set) home made. Just get some threaded tube the right size to go over your shocks. Cut off bottom cup. Weld sleeve on. Get a bottom cup turned up with a thread to suit the sleave. Prob should run another bottom type thing to lock the cup. Um thats bout it aye. Need to prob machine ya shocks to suit where ya want it also. On those ones the escorts have weak bottom axle things and they arnt replacable. The sleve goes right down to the bottom and is welded over the weak part to strengthen it FTW.
