kyteler
I'm glad that third picture was one of the "older fella". 1
maxted
nice work on the rad hose tunnel Alex! gulf blue for the colour?
yoeddynz
Yeah I quite like gulf blue. But wouldn't do the whole scheme because its a bit over done I feel. I do like this imp in martini colours though even though I'm not normally a fan of red...

yoeddynz
Snifter Green (are snifters still available???) is similar to the original wagon colour. Not keen on matching green cars.
tortron
Snifters went off the market about 10 years ago

Guest
I love all of your projects. After sustaining a fairly serious injury recently and spending quite a bit of time laid up in bed, I've been watching quite a few car related restoration YouTube channels. Have you ever considered setting up a channel and documenting your stuff this way? Sure your projects would be incredibly popular and if successful, you'd be able to earn a good living from it. Popular Post yoeddynz
Hey thanks for the lovely comments. Nah i have never considered it. I don't consider myself very confident behind a video camera and start getting a bit paranoid/self conscious about my voice. So I've always just been happy behind the keyboard. However I do love writing build threads in the hope that not only will they entertain but that they'll also inform others enough and help- just as so many threads out there have taught me back. We are right in the middle of tidying up our housetruck for sale and once its sold will be starting a new house on wheels of which I am really bloody excited about! Being able to build your own cheap house is something that is ever more important these days and with the whole new trendy 'tiny house' thing having really kicked off there is certainly a lot of interest out there. I could perhaps do a vblog for that build and just see how it goes and how I fair. 11
tortron
Budget about ³ times longer for everything when a camera needs setting up
kyteler
What he said. It is certainly cool and I would be interested but man oh man will it change your available build time and duration.
yoeddynz
I'll just duct tape a camera onto Kevins back. He follows us about all day. Rough edit it in the evening and throw some loud euro house music on in background then post. Sorted. 5
tortron
More rear leg room than a standard Morris minor and it's a full sized car!
yoeddynz
Only if the seats are slid forwards though. But that won't be often (no kids/just cat life) But yeah.. Its quite spacious inside for a little car.
Speedy88
Sorry for asking a question a little unrelated to your car but what's the deal with the deceased estate with all the cool old cars rotting away? Is there any chance of me getting in there for a wander around with a camera or is it a "who you know" kinda deal?

It is or was somewhat accessible. @Carsnz123 may know current status.
Speedy88
Awesome! I'm just about to make it down that way in my travels. Is it easy to find?

Pretty easy, probably best to arrange an introduction to the caretaker though. https://goo.gl/maps/cZJ1GFYri212
