Indiana_Jones
Anyone else ever noticed that the left rear door always starts to rust before the other doors on these? I've seen so many that are pretty good apart from the left rear door. Lines of them in the wreckers all good except for the door I want. It's the same on the 1800 lol
mtbtimr
Wheres the best place to buy parts. Minibitz in hendo will have whatever you need for pretty reasonable prices. Theres a ton of stuff on eBay. Tardme is pretty reliable. Repco still stock more than you'd expect - gaskets, waterpump etc..
flyingbrick
Maybe that's why my rear left door has been resprayed a different shade of white at some point... Its because of the spin of the earth and magnets etc. ABOVE the equator these rust out the right front door first.

bathcollector
Check under that drivers side footwell too. The trumpets under the front guards are another spot to look for rust on these. How rusty is your door ? I have one that has a couple of small holes.

ajg193
Not really any substitute for real steel, but I guess for a first project that stuff could be alright. Just don't put it anywhere structural.
