Jordon KE...
went for stock wheels painted haha, nice and cheap and i quite like the look. what is peoples opinion on fiberglass panels?
RUNAMUCK
Hey I haven't forgotten about that steering box. I still need to pick up the cubic shit ton of spare parts from the guy I bought my donor truck off. Might not be this side of the jolly fat cunt coming though. But it should happen over the break. Jordon KE...
That's all good, I might be able to repair mine but need to set up the shaft in the lathe to be able to fit a new bearing.
Jordon KE...
Anyone know of any well side trays around? Look of them is so much nicer
Goat
Wellside would rule. Yeah, there will be fitment issues. But will take a fraction of the time to rejig the mounts instead of fixing the rust there would be on a 2nd hand one here. If you can even find one.... Jordon KE...
Cool its confirmed that next shipment leaves in 4 months and there will be a well side for a 620 that needs it (mine). i'm happy about this
Jordon KE...
So along with a well side i also wanted to look into wheel choices. I love Hayashi streets (thanks Joe/goat) and thought it would be awesome to run them on a 620. but damn they dont make them in 6 stud, oh wait they do!! http://www.hayashiracing.com/whee04sth/index.html But not for an affordable price, what do you guys think about running adaptors to 5 stud and running 5 stud streets? Jordon KE...
Got the wellside on the way but forgot to ask about flares. Should be here in September so will be able to fit it before Xmas
Bistro
hmmmm 5 stud Streets are pretty rare too (and thus $$$), esp in a decent size. I'm not so sure on getting a new wellside and then butchering it with flares hah. I think it would be best to find something that fits within the standard guards...although, they are a funny guard that don't really lend themselves to wide as reyums. I have some 15x8.5 6stud tridents you can use to mock up if you like. possibly a bit wide tho.. but we can see!!
Jordon KE...
Would be awesome to have a look at it with those tridents. ill let you know when its wof'd. Yeah i'm 50/50 on the flares. Joe has some so will just have a look at what it looks like and decide... look at that dish! ^^
kyteler
Makes it look like a big B110 Ute. I don't like it. Prefer the lamps to be underneath, looks way cleaner that way. HOWEVER! It's still better than any flat-deck or step-side.
Jordon KE...
yes i agree with that. not as nice as original but better that no wellside. I'm going through API, are there any other importers?
j.e.d.
I don't know anything about these ute's specifically, but the white wellside looks 100% better than the green one, as the wheel arches match the fronts for a start. On the green one it doesn't look the same, but they're some pretty crappy photo's so not a good selling point by the supplier if he's trying to get you to go for the newer improved version.. SiRge
I like it, makes it seem like actual tail lights. Just my opinion but I hate it when guys put like LED strip stuff on, as sacrilege as putting chrome Altezza style anything. Makes baby jesus cry.
