kiwi808
It is a little moist here on the Shore but it is not technically raining. Will be getting there about 10ish.
kdotlowe
Good to meet a few of you guys. Although wasn't the best outcome for me.
Styles
I'm pretty gutted about the forecasting, looked at Metvuw, Metservice, and the apple weather app, last night all looked bad, wasn't looking good early this morning, checked the above mentioned again, and still looked bad, locked in other plans. Not sure what it was like on the shore, but since 8am all we had out Papakura way was a little drizzle at about 11.30!!!! Bummed that it probably would have been ok. Bad news for you Afro..... Not how you want to finish your weekend!
BDA780
Good to meet a few of you guys. Although wasn't the best outcome for me. Damn that sucks. What did they get you on? Thats a bloody tidy Escort you have. I should have poped over to say hi.
kdotlowe
Cheers mate! Definitely need to attend more events. Got pinged on being too low and having no window washers - two issues that have never been brought up in a warrant in the past 5 years so I'm a little annoyed. Ah well.. kyteler
If you don't have a washer bottle, you don't need working washers. The moment you have the bottle, they need to work. If you have a washer bottle and it's empty, then it's a WoF fail, no bottle, no fail.
V8Pete
Don't even need to work if you do have a bottle if pre-1992 when I last checked.
kdotlowe
Ah good to know. I removed the Escorts whole system as it was pretty much useless. Will be interesting to see what happens when it comes to getting the sticker off. Ride height shouldn't be an issue as it was a full car yesterday. kyteler
Height is also "unladen" so if they had problems you should have emptied it all out. Sounds like it will be an unnecessary hassle more than anything. Thanks NZ Police.
kdotlowe
So theoretically, if everyone jumped out of the car it should've been sweet? Regardless, I've sent a lengthy email to the Police outlining these issues etc.

kdotlowe
Definitely would've been. Wasn't even less than 100mm with them in the car. It was the 'bumpstops nearly touching' that he was worried about. Guess this could be a whole other ball game. Cheers Kyteler!
Chickity
Wha? Something "nearly" being a problem isn't a legitimate thing. You can't be ticketed for "nearly exceeding the speed limit" or "nearly not having current registration"...
Ned
but you can get a ticket for nearly doing 120, or nearly being a month out of rego though, as you need 1"+ of suspension travel or something like that so having nearly none is already past the limit
Yowzer
Choppy down the bumpstops. Problem solved

What's the limit? Also, being "nearly a month over, or going nearly 120" is an easier way of saying "going 119 or 27 days over", saying 'nearly illegal" is not the same.
