Rookie
So I got a new battery, chucked that in and changed the oil tonight, seems to be running mint so that is a bonus.
Chris.QCR
For some reason I thought your battery was in the ammo box ? What's in the box ?

Rookie
At the moment it is full of my tool roll, spare spark plugs, points, a smaller bottle of oil, a random assortment of hose clamps, and a packet of zip ties. Basically everything I could think of that might get me out of trouble/ home if something goes wrong. Â I always intended it to be a luggage compartment, but seeings as I'm still pretty new to this bike and I don't know what will break next,I will keep the tools in there a little longer. Perhaps you should have carried a spare battery in the ammo case... Â Â Wait wut?

Chris.QCR
Good call on carrying tools . I'd say a couple more rides and you reduce that down to a crescent and screwdriver and a handful of cable ties all of which can be carried in a leather jacket then move ammo case to inside of frame to house battery
Rookie
Went for a ride on Sunday, guard fell off, prompting me to get another one. Â
Chris.QCR
Hell Yes! That looks so great without one!! So your gonna need to get one of those TFMW ones and get fitting real flush with the tire. Also be a great time to upsize that tire. Looking good dude!!
Rookie
I was thinking about this. http://www.ebay.com/itm/STEEL-NARROW-RIBBED-ROUND-TOP-4-FENDER-BRIT-STYLE-HARLEY-TRIUMPH-BOBBER-CHOPPER/330973500980?_trksid=p2045573.m2042&_trkparms=aid%3D111000%26algo%3DREC.CURRENT%26ao%3D1%26asc%3D27%26meid%3D687174748792151676%26pid%3D100033%26prg%3D1011%26rk%3D3%26rkt%3D4%26sd%3D280817419705%
Vintage Grumble
Also be a great time to upsize that tire. Â ^ This, a larger/wider rear tyre would do wonders for the ballance/look of this bad boy.
Rookie
4.00x18? Thinking Avon SM Mk2 for the back, but unsure as to what else I could put on there.
Rookie
I hate Firestones, but this seems to have good balance to it. Â Â That is a 4.00x18 Firestone, with the same front tyre as mine.
Chris.QCR
Yeah possibly a Avon MKII Safety could be the go. But your right Firestone rear, Avon Speedmaster front is the combo required for the correct balance. Its just a rule really. But a Avon Safety MKII could work. And yeah that guard looks lush
anglia4
Dave I still can't figure out how your bike looks so long
Rookie
It is because it is so short/low. My mate with the KTM and I swapped bikes on the weekend, This thing looks comical with someone on it hahaha
Rookie
So I bought that guard, Then rode it to the pub for tea and promptly got a flat rear tyre... Must be a sign.
