^ yea this, I did it all on sunday. Cert plate should show up this week or maybe early next week with the extra demand created by nats.

So turns out they aren't happy with the rear brake pedal, so I will make a new one this week, then I will get my cert plate.

Also on the trip to Nats a few things went wrong:

Headlight and taillight bulbs blew

Taillight housing broke

Speedo stopped working

Exhaust mounts broke

Rear tyre wore out

I fixed all except the tyre and the taillight housing, I am looking for replacements as we speak.

A gratuitous photo I took at nats.

So everything has been done and I am now waiting for the cert plate to arrive.

I ended up having to remake the rear brake lever, because the beards in Wellington didn't like the fact it has a butt weld in it, kinda fair enough I guess. So the new one is made out of 3/4" solid, and seems to do the trick nicely.

Also fitted a Dunlop TT100 to the back, it seems like a good tyre, but I had a few issues fitting/getting it fitted. Oh well it is on now.

I have been thinking about how to fix the proportions of it because something doesn't quite look right, We have all had a gander at it and we think it is the rear guard that is off, so after it is legit I will start messing around with it and see what I can come up with.

I think something like this might do the trick.
